Make sure you space these fasteners every three to four corrugations. Apply the cement carefully with a putty knife until you ve sealed the hole completely. Overhang the sheets at the fascia by 5cm to form a drip edge. Secure the edge of the sheet at the gutter end every second corrugation.

Ensure the sheets are positioned square to the line of the eaves and verge first nailing the sheet edges. Seal the sides of the corrugated bitumen sheets with foam strips or spray foam. Lay the individual sheets across the roof joists or cross beams. Reduce the fixing centre to the first purlin up.

Position and fix the verge barge board. Press one patch over the roofing cement. Secure the sheets to the roof by using stainless steel fasteners. Urethane roof cement is an excellent product that can help you patch holes on corrugated metal roofing.

Primary fixings should be in profile valleys where possible.
