How to attach insulation panels to a garage door.
Fit the cut insulation into the panel with the vinyl side facing into the garage.
Press the insulation into place if you have panel railings.
Panel sizes may differ along the door so measure each one as you go rather than pre cutting all the panels based on one measurement.
Repeat this process for each panel.
Push insulation flat against door and feel for retention clips.
Use clean water and a rag to remove.
Measure the height and width of the panel and mark the center of each panel with a pencil or marker.
Cut foam insulation to size now that you know the dimensions for each panel on your garage door cut the foam insulation to size.
The instructions tell you how to measure out everything and mark it but let s just say you measure to find the center of each panel on your door then you half it again.
Use a marker to place an x in each place so you can come back quickly and just attach all of the adhesive.

Adhere insulation to garage door open your adhesive and start adhering your cut insulation to the door.
Slice inch slits through the insulation above the retention clips and attach the front of the retention clips to the back pieces to secure the insulation panels.
With fiberglass batt insulation wrapped in vinyl your garage will stay comfortable year round.
Repeat until all the panels are insulated.
Use 1 1 2 inch thick insulation for doors with metal framing and 2 inch thick material for doors without it.

Once the insulation is cut to size you push the panes over the pins and attach the pin cover.
