How to fix a wall clock that runs slow.
Do you see any damage to the wires.
If so replace the cables with new ones and see if it works or not.
The bob will settle lower making the effective length of the pendulum longer.
Open the door and bring the pendulum all the way to the side then let.
Gently take off the compartment and take a look at the connections.
If not there may be internal damage.
Use the fingers of your dominant hand to gently turn the regulation screw.
If they are getting a collision or there is unnecessary friction among them smoothen out the edges of the handles with a piece of cloth.
This screw regulates the speed of the clock.
Turning the screw to the left will lower the pendulum slightly and slow down the clock.
Again you should also check the electric clocks handles.
Swing the pendulum on the inside of the clock if it has a pendulum.
If your clock is running slow then there might be an issue with the wiring.
To speed up the clock tighten the nut turn it toward your right.
The clock will run slower.
You should hear a ticking sound.
It is possible to install the battery upside down where the battery is.
The first and easiest problem to fix is restoring the clock s battery power which is done by removing the battery from the back of the clock and replacing it with a fresh one.
To slow down the clock loosen the adjustment nut turn it toward your left.
