Door knob or handle style identifying the style and design of your doorknob or handle is an important first step.
If not you might need a bit more shim or to add a small one to the center hinge which will allow a balancing between the two.
Spray the lubricant onto the stem of the latch bolt which is visible inside the door knob hole.
Use an allen key to loosen the set screw on the side and remove the door handle use a flat head screwdriver to carefully remove the cover plate which will expose the two phillips screws take a phillips screwdriver to tighten the screw on.
Using an awl or small screwdriver push the button in all the way and at the same time pull off the handle.

Look around the collar on the doorknob and identify the set screw that is threaded into the collar.

Inspect the rod s surface and locate the groove where the set screw needs to be secured.
Then tighten the screws back up and check to see if the door swings evenly.
First loosen the hinge screws most of the way.
