Hold the door in place using blocks under the bottom to support it if necessary.

Connect the door to the jamb.
A butler hinge is also called a swinging door hinge and a double acting floor hinge.
Step four fasten hinges to the wall.
Remove the hinge and use the screwdriver to carefully indent the screws pencil markings.
Then with the door in place mark the location of the hinge on the door.
Mark on with your pencil where the hinges are going to go.
The final step in the double door hinge installation is to attach the hinges to the door.
Line up the two hinge plates so that the ones on the door match the ones in the jamb.
