Step 3 fit the new handle.
In this video we show you how to install a key lock set on an existing patio door handle.
Tip the stationary panel into the opening push it against the door frame and install any angle brackets to anchor it.
Place the metal punch over the marked spot on the frame.
This should not be very difficult to find out and you can then calculate the right size of replacement sliding patio door handles.
Rotate the handle 90 clockwise lift the handle up then rotate it back and remove the handle from the door.

Drill out any holes necessary for the lock securing screws in the same way.
Finish re installing the handle by inserting the two screws through the handle and into the backing plate.
Once you have your new handle you can then fit it to the door.
If there are gaps under the threshold add additional shims under the door every 6 inches or so for support.
