Optional move the stop valves closer to the trap in order to hide them behind the pedestal.

Installing the sink the pedestal base is set into place and aligned with the mounting holes drilled in the floor when applicable.

To begin the installation shut off the water to the bathroom once again so you can cut off the caps on the stubouts and install the shutoff valves.
Place the basin on the pedestal and against the wall.

Keep the rags and bucket handy to catch the water that will spill from the pipe.
Place the lavatory on the pedestal and then set it in the desired location.
Then make a mark 10 inches from the wall accounting for the baseboard.
Measure out from the wall 1 3 8 in make a mark on the stubout and cut it off with the tube cutter photo 4.
Be sure to center the pedestal to the drain hole on the wall.
