Start by marking the area where you plan to hang the mirror with a pencil apply a thin layer of primer so the adhesive will stick.
How to hang a mirror on a wall with glue.
Cut a piece of 1 by 2 inch pine this length with a handsaw as a temporary support while the glue dries.
Once the primer is dry remove the tape and attach a temporary wooden brace along the bottom edge to aid in positioning the mirror.
If you do the glue will seep out and cause a mess.
Pull the mirror slightly away from the wall to activate the glue and press it firmly back into position.
Be careful to use a small and precise incision so as to not ruin the entire stick.
Step 4 push the mirror tightly against the wall and let it sit for at least 24 hours.
Apply the adhesive in a pattern recommended by the manufacturer.
Place 9 mm three eighths inch diameter beads of adhesive along the full length of the mirror 127 mm to 152 mm 5 to 6 inches apart.
Line the mirror up to the marked line and press it against the wall.
Position the wood flat against the wall and align the upper.
Measure the width of the mirror.
Thereafter make a crossed pattern of glue along the entire backside of the wall mirror.
Run a bead of glue all the way around the mirror along with several beads in its middle.
Once safely inside flip the mirror over.
Apply the glue on the mirror back at least 1 inch in from the mirror s outer edge.
Load the the special mirror glue into the caulk gun and apply it to the back of the mirror being careful not to put the glue too close to the edge of the wall side of the mirror.
To bond the mirror to the wall use an adhesive rated for mirrors.
Step 4 fix the mirror to the wall.
That should be enough glue to hold the mirror to the wall.
