Modern retractable screen doors work by rolling and unrolling screen material via a spindle at the top or side of the door.
If the edge of the door is hitting the frame try tightening the screws on the top middle or bottom hinge on both the door frame and the door being careful not to over tighten and strip the screws.
Turn the adjustment screws clockwise until the frame is parallel with the edge of the door jamb.
Then pull the bottom out and lower the door until it clears the top edge of the frame.
