You ve probably seen a rawl plug it s a generally plastic insert that is used to provide grips for screw being driven into concrete walls among other materials.
I used a soaked sponge to wet the bricks and mortar making it easier for the cement to get a good bond.
Vacuum any remaining dust or debris out of the hole.
The anchor will take up quite a bit of space and the upshot is the screw will hold better with an anchor anyway.
However one of the anchor bolt has come out of place after playing for few days.
I mixed batches of cement going for a pretty thick consistency that would stay up on a vertical surface.
Dampen the hole and surrounding area with water using a spray bottle.
Mix a small portion.
Simply coat a rawl plug with glue and tap it into the oversized screw hole.
For that size vertical hole you may need to brace a board over the hole to hold in the patch until it dries.
Now my requirement is to fix the.
You can also use it if you mistakenly drill too big of a hole into wood or other material.
If this is a retaining wall you need to fix the problem ont he other side of the wall first.
To fix a large hole you will need to cut out a piece of the wall all the way to the center of each stud on either side of the hole.
If the hole in your wall is too big for the screw you need the quickest best fix is often an anchor.
Use a razor knife to cut down the center of the stud.
Clean the hole and surrounding area with a wire brush.
Have fixed a basket ball hoop not using the wooden board directly to a concrete wall using anchor bolts roughly 2 3 inches deep and 1 2 inch dia.
To apply the cement i grabbed a good handful and worked it into the right shape breaking up any clumps.
If this is just a wall above ground on both sides you can mix up some concrete patch and fill the hole back in.
I guess either the hole was big or the anchor was not able to grip properly and the hole lining was giving away.
If the anchor is a bit too small try it anyway.
This will allow you to attach a new piece of sheetrock to the studs.
