If your fabric is sagging attach 1 or 2 more velcro strips in the middle of. Write down the measurements for the velcro strips on the backdrop and use the tape measure to transfer these dimensions to the surface on which you will be hanging the backdrops. Give the surfaces around 5 minutes to dry before attaching your adhesive strips. Press the velcro onto the wall and hold it there.

Choose a sturdy wood strip at least half an inch thick and tall to avoid sagging or bowing. Attach the rough side or hook side of the velcro to the wall in the places marked with the pencil. Work along the width of the fabric and stick each velcro strip to your wall. Then gently rub the cloth against your wall and the mounting side of your shelf.

Pull your fabric taut and stick one end of it to your wall. Peel the second backing off of your velcro strips to make them sticky. Use corner brackets to increase the stability of the frame. Sketch in these lines using a pencil.

You can make a wooden frame using four thin pieces of wood cut to the desired lengths and widths and gluing or screwing them together. Things you will need dampen the cloth or paper towels with warm water and wipe down the wall that you will be attaching the velcro to. Create a wooden frame or cut a piece of painted plywood to size. You can also use a piece of painted plywood as your backing.

Remove the industrial strength velcro from its packaging and peel of the paper covering the adhesive side.
