Note pullup bars take a lot of weight especially if you flap around like a dying whale on them like i do.

To create the box of the cabinet drill three pocket holes in each end of the top and bottom boards as shown in the plan.
Measure 3 inches from the bottom of the boards and use the 1 1 2 inch spade bit to make a hole in both boards.
Cut two identical pieces of the 2 4 to the height at which you d like the bar to hang.
Our system has four flanges to connect to the wall two side bars to spread out the load and a center bar ready for pullup ing.
Grab your drill and sixteen screws four for each flange and head on over to your wall.
Sand the rough edges.
This example is cut to 18 inches but it will vary depending on ceiling height and personal preference.
